Private Jet Charter To Kuala Lumpur - April 12, 2010 by Miles Woolgar

Flying to Kuala Lumpur for business or pleasure? Perhaps you are going there to watch the Formula One racing? If you are here’s a quick synopsis of the city.

Remember the advert: “Malaysia, truly Asia”? Kuala Lumpur (KL) is surely the epitome of this statement. The city was originally a tin-mining shanty town but today this modern metropolis is a monument to modernity. The skyline of this Asian tiger is dominated by some of the tallest skyscrapers in the world, paid for by international trade and commerce.

This city is a place of extremes in terms of culture and religion. Temples, malls and mosques stand by side each other in the hubbub of downtown KL. You can walk through bustling streets full of trader stalls selling anything from food to counterfeit DVDs and take time out for a cappuccino in a Wi-Fi enabled café.

KL is a real melting pot of cultural diversity consisting of ethnic Malays, Chinese, Indians and British, all of which have left their own footprint on the capital. If you are looking for night life, shopping and eating out then KL is definitely the place, but don’t forget there are other places of interests outside of the city such as parks and monuments that can easily be visited.

You can get to Malaysia by a variety of airliners but as you might have guessed we strongly recommend you go by private air charter. This will ensure a far pleasanter experience.
