Hard nosed business man Michael O’Leary is looking to carry out his threat to charge passengers for using the toilets during flights. If Ryanair do go ahead with this plan it is likely to come about within 18 months.
In typical style O’Leary said that passengers would “learn to go to the toilet before boarding, and they’ll go after landing. It’s an hour’s flight, they’ll survive.”

There is also a possiblility of replacing toilets with seats to provide extra capacity. O’Leary’s business model for the future is to eventually get rid of airfares and instead replace them with extra charges for baggage, toilets and other items.

Ryanair anounced a 78% in full year profits to €105m. This is the second drop in profits as last year Ryanair reported a fall in average air fares and revenues per passenger despite a 15% increase in volume.
